Micromax has launched the company’s latest smartphone in Bharat series – Micromax Bharat 5 in India at a price tag of Rs. 5,555. The smartphone comes in Black color and will be available across India via offline retail stores starting from December 7. The company has partnered with Vodafone to offer 50GB of data (10GB of data every month for 5 months) for those who purchase the smartphone, and this offer is available for any new or existing. The Micromax Bharat 5 is the successor of Micromax Bharat 4 that was launched earlier and the main highlight of the smartphone is that it packs 5000mAh battery.

On the specifications front, the Micromax Bharat 5 features 5.2-inches HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and it is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek 6737 processor which is paired with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system and has 16GB internal storage which can be expanded further up to 64GB via microSD card.
Camera
On the camera side, the Micromax Bharat 5 features 5MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front-facing camera with LED flash for selfie & video-calling.

The smartphone has dual-SIM support and comes with connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS.

The smartphone packs massive 5000mAh battery and the company claims that it will offer up to 2 days of battery life & comes with a standby time of up to 3 weeks.
