LG has launched the company’s latest smartphone in K-series – LG K10 (2017) in India at a price tag of Rs. 3,990. The smartphone comes in Black, Titanium & Gold colors and it will be available across retail stores. The LG K10 (2017) comes with free smart cover and unlimited audio & video downloads from Hungama for 45 days. The main highlight of the smartphone is that it comes with SOS feature for emergency situations. Once a user presses the power button three times or pressing the SOS option in the menu, the call gets connected to India-specific SOS 112 emergency number. Originally, the smartphone has unveiled ahead of CES 2017 last month and it is the “Made in India” smartphone which was launched and Telecom and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad. The smartphone supports 9 regional languages.
On the specifications front, the LG K10 (2017) features 5.3-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and powered by 1.5GHz 64-bit Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 processor which is paired with Mali-T860 GPU & 2GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and it has 16GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 2TB via microSD card.
On the photography front, the smartphone features a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 5Mp front-facing camera with 120-degree wide-angle lens for selfie & video-calling.
The smartphone has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB OTG.
The smartphone packs 2800mAh removable battery.
At such a price tag, the LG K10 (2017) will compete with Xiaomi Remdi Note 4, Moto G4 Plus and few others.
