LG has launched the company’s latest smartphone – LG G3 Beat in India at an initial price tag of Rs. 2,5000. It comes in Metallic Black, Silk White & Shine Gold colour and will be available across the county retail outlets as well as on e-commerce websites. Originally, it was unveiled back in July. It comes with Snap-On Case with multiple colour options. It features same ‘Floating Arc Design’ as seen on the LG G3, with smooth curved sides and gradually tapered edges.

On the specifications front, it features a 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and offer 294ppi pixel density. It is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor which is paired with Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with new flat UI and has 8GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 8MP rear-camera with LED flash & laser auto-focus and 1.3MP front-facing camera has a floating arc design and metallic design, Smart keyboard QuickMemo+ and more features similar to LG G3.
It has connectivity features like 4G LTE/HSPA+21Mbps, 3G, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS/GLONASS, GPRA/EDGE, NFC, USB 2.0.
It weighs 134 grams and has dimension of 137.7 x 69.6 x 10.3 mm.
It packs 2,540mAh removable battery.
Some of the preloaded software features from the LG G3 flagship smartphone on the G3 Beat include Touch and Shoot, which allows a touch anywhere on the display to focus and shoot; Gesture Shot, which begins automatic three-second countdown before the picture is snapped by just a hand gesture; Smart Keyboard, and QuickMemo+, LG’s overhauled note taking app.
At such a price tag it will compete with other smartphone like Sony Xperia T3, Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini and the Oppo N1 Mini.
