At CES 2014, LG announced that LG G Flex curved smartphone will go on sale in US in first quarter on Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile. There is no word on the pricing and availability yet, but it all depends on all the carriers about the pricing & availability.
LG G Flex is a curved smartphone and it features a 6-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Curved Plastic OLED display that vertically concave from top to bottom to a radius of 700mm. It is powered by a 2.26 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera. It packs a 3500 mAh curved battery.
The G Flex also has a self-healing back, if you’re the one who often drops their phone and on software side it includes Dual Window for multi-tasking, Swing Lockscreen, Quick Theater, Answer Me, LG Knock-On Guest Mode, Slide Aside and more. The G Flex has a screen made from plastic substrates, rather than glass, which means its flexible enough to bend without breaking.
