Lenovo has launched the compnay’s latest smartphone – Lenovo Phab2 Plus in India at a price tag of Rs. 14,999. It comes in Champagne Gold & Gunmetal Grey anr available exclusively on Amazon.in. Originally, it was unveiled at the Lenovo Tech World 2016 in San Francisco in June and it is the sucessor of PHAB Plus that was launched in India last year.

On the specifications front, the Lenovo Phab2 Plus features 6.4-inch Full HD 2.5D Curved Glass display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it is powered Octa-Core MediaTek MT8783 processor which is paired with Mali -T720 GPU & 3GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with Lenovo UI on top of it and it has 32GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card.
On the photography front, the Lenovo Phab2 Plus features dual 13-megapixel rear cameras with Futjitsu Milbeaut ISPs, Laser AF, PDAF, dual-tone LED flash and an 8-megapixel camera on the front with LED flash. The phablet uses one camera to click the photo while the other measures the depth. This setup allows users to click a photo and then change the background or to change the focus of the photo after they have clicked it with a slider to give a nice bokeh effect.
It has dual SIM supprt and connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS.
It has several features such as refocus, background swap,extreme manual settings and Augmented-Reality special effects. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the back. The phablet also comes with support for Dolby ATMOS and Dolby Audio Capture 5.1 surround sound.
It packs 4050mAh battery which offers a standby time of 17 days & 23 hours of talktime.
