In an event in China, LeEco has announced the company’s latest smartphone – LeEco Le Pro 3 at a starting price tag of 1799 Yuan (US $270). It comes in Gold, Grey & Silver colour and will be available for order starting from today & the shipping starts from September 28th, 2016. It comes in four variant – 4GB RAM with 32GB in-built memory costs 1799 Yuan (US $270) while the other variant 6GB RAM with 64GB in-built memory costs 1999 Yuan (US $299). There is a special Zhang Yimou edition which comes with 4GB RAM with 64GB in-built and it costs 2499 Yuan while the 6GB RAM with 128GB in-built memory costs 2999 Yuan (US $449).
On the specifications front, it features 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it is powered by 2.3GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor which is paired with Adreno 530 GPU & runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with EUI 5.8 on top of it. It comes in two variant – 4GB LPDDR4 RAM with 32GB (UFS 2.0) storage while the other is 6GB LPDDR4 RAM with 64GB (UFS 2.0) internal storage.
On the photography front, it features 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) for quick focus in 0.1 seconds and a 8-megapixel font-facing camera.
It has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4/5 GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C, NFC.
It packs 4070mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 and it offers 3 hours of talk time with just 5 minutes of charging using 24W fast charger.
It has unibody metal design and is just 7.5 mm thick. It has fingerprint sensor on the back. It doesn’t have 3.5mm audio jack and uses USB Type-C for CDLA (Continual Lossless Digital Audio) and also Dolby Atmos-powered audio & has dual speakers. A headphone adapter will ship with the smartphone.
