InFocus has launched the company’s latest smartphone in the Epic series – InFocus Epic 1 in India at a price tag of Rs. 12,999. It comes in Gold colour and will be available on Amazon.in starting from October 25th, 2016. At such a price tag, it will compete with Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, LeEco Le 2, Coolpad Note 5 and few others.

On the specifications front, it features 5.5-inch Full HD LTPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by Deca-Core MediaTek Helio X20 (MT6797) processor (Dual-A72 2.0GHz + Quad-A53 1.9GHz + Quad-A53 1.4GHz) which is paired with Mali-T880MP4 GPU & 3GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with InLife UI 2.0 on top of it and it has 32GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card.

On the photography front, the InFocus Epic 1 features 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and 8MP front-facing camera, f/1.8 aperture, 82-degree wide-angle lens for selfie & video-calling. The smartphone comes with burst mode and it can capture 30 shots in less than two seconds. It also support video recording in slow motion and 4K resolution.
