In an event in New Delhi, HTC has launched the company’s latest smartphone – HTC One M9+ in India at a price tag of Rs. 52,500. It comes in Gold, Gunmetal Grey and Silver colours and will go on sale in India starting 3rd May. Originally, it was announced in China earlier this month.

On the specifications front, it features 5.2-inch Quad HD screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by 2.2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6795T Octa-Core 64-bit processor which is paired with 3GB of RAM. It runs on Android 5.0 With HTC Sense 7.0 UI on top of it and it has 32GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 128GB by using microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 20.7-megapixel rear-camera with dual LED flash along with a 2.1-megapixel secondary rear-camera to capture depth information. It has 4-megapixel ultra-pixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/ac/b/g/n (2.4 and 5 GHz), Bluetooth and GPS with GLONASS.
It packs 2840mAh battery.
It has fingerprint sensor below the display and it is for secure lock and payments. It has multi-directional touch-based sensors which lets you place your finger on the sensor in any direction to unlock your phone.
