In an event in New Delhi, HTC has announced the company’s latest smartphone – HTC One E9+ in India. It comes in Meteor Grey, Gold Sopia and Rose Gold colours and it will be available by the end of month of May. Originally, it wend official last month.
Commenting on the launch event, Faisal Siddiqui, President, HTC South Asia and India, said:

The HTC One E9+, continues to build on HTC’s innovation and design, with a 2K 13.97 cm (5.5-inch) large display, 20 mega-pixel camera, HTC’s popular UltraPixel is now on the front facing camera with tons of features, HTC BoomSound with Dolby Audio Surround and more, all this in a slim form factor. We are certain that this offering will delight many of our consumers.”
On the specifications front, it features 5.5-inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by 2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio X10 processor which is paired with 3GB of RAM. It runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with HTC Sense UI on top of it and has 16GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 2TB via microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 20-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash and 4-megapixel ultrapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/ac/b/g/n (2.4 and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS with GLONASS.
It packs 2800mAh battery.
