Huawei under its Honor brand has announced the company’s latest budget 4G smartphone – Honor 5 (Honor Play 5) in China at a price tag of 599 Yuan. It comes in Black, White & Gold colours and will go on sale in China starting from August 2nd, 2016. It has an easy key on the left side that you set it to launch apps by long press, double press to launch flashlight, press to launch camera and more.
On the specifications front, it features 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and it is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor which is paired with Malo-T720 GPU & 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with EMUI 3.1 Lite on top of it and it has 16GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSd card.
On the imaging front, it features 8-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash for selfie & video-calling.
It has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS.
It packs 2200mAh battery.
