In the month of March 2016, Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 3 in India at a starting price tag of Rs. 9,999. Now the company will be introducing the affordable variant of Redmi Note 3 – Xiaomi Redmi Note 3S in India on August 3, 2016. The smartphone will be unveiled through a live stream at 12:00 P.M. and you can watch it live on c.mi.com (Mi Community). Originally, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3S launched in China recently.
On the specifications front, it features 5-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octal-core chipset which is paired with. It comes in two variants – 2GB RAM with 16GB storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB onboard storage.
On the photography front, the Redmi Note 3s features 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It comes with hybrid SIM card slot and connectivity features like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS.
It packs in over 4000 mAh battery, depending up on the variant.
Just like the Redmi Note 3, there is a fingerprint scanner at the back.
