Google’s latest smartphone – Nexus 5 – has started receiving Android 4.4.1 update that brings several camera fixes enhancements to the smartphone. Nexus 5 camera performance gets a boost after receiving the update. Nexus 5 camera didn’t exactly impress to the users what they wanted, and Google responded to this five weeks after the smartphone’s launch with an update that brings camera fixes. Nexus 5 Android 4.4.1 update is now available for users.
According to Google’s official release note, “It improves the camera with faster focusing, especially in low light, faster white balancing, for truer colors, the ability to pinch-zoom the viewfinder in HDR+ mode and less shutter lag.”
In addition, the camera app itself will launch quicker than earlier, a new progress indicator in HDR+ mode, which shows you how the photo processing progresses. The update is also fixing the face unlock bug of the Nexus 5.
