Google brings its popular media streaming TV accessory Chromecast to more people around the world that includes 11 more countries. Google Chromecast will be available for customers in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland starting today and will cost £30. You can purchase it via the Google Play and Amazon. In addition, Chromecast will also available via Currys PC World, Elkjøp, FNAC, Saturn, Media Markt and other retailers. From today Chromecast will be available to the customers in Canada also.
In addition to apps like YouTube, Google Play Movies, Google Play Music and Netflix, Chromecast includes local content providers to bring more entertainment to Chromecast for Europe customers such as – BBC iPlayer in the U.K.; France TV Pluzz and SFR TV in France with CANALPLAY coming soon; and Watchever in Germany with Maxdome coming soon. In addition, Chrome webpages can be streamed to the television through a Chrome extension.
