Flipkart launched the company’s first tablet under its Digiflip Pro brand – Digiflip Pro XT 712 at an initial price tag of INR 9,999. It is available in Black & White colors and as of now only Black version is available on Flipkart & white version would go on sale on Flipkart soon. It is listed to be delivered in 2-3 business days. There are 3.5 million customers who log-in everyday on Flipkart and from now onwards they have a choice of picking up a tablet too. Flipkart has added lots of offers and freebies with this tablet. It comes with worth of INR 9,000 offers that includes free shopping worth INR 5,300 on Flipkart through mobile app on the device, 1-month subscription of Flipkart first, Free eBooks worth INR 2,300, flat 50% off on Book Case worth INR 799 and a free Plantronics ML2 Bluetooth Headset worth INR 1,199. It also offers try and buy program that enables you to try the tablet and return it within 30 days and offers one-year warranty in the tablet.

The tablet comes with a metal construction and spec wise there is nothing great. Although, the tablet offer something new in the form of 3G dual-SIM functionality with voice-calling. It measures 113.7 x 1.85 x 9.2 mm and weighs 385 gram. It is 10 percent thinner when compared with other tablets in the class.
On the specifications front, it features 7-inch HD IPS display with resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels and it is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8382 processor which is coupled with Mali 400 GPU. It has 1GB RAM and 16GB internal memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
On the imaging front, it features a 5MP auto-focus rear-camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera.
It has Dual SIM support with dual standby support (GSM + GSM), 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS/A-GPS, GPRS/EDGE, USB OTG and voice calling capabilities.
It packs 3,000mAh battery which lasts up to 8 hours of talk time and has 168 hours of standby time.
