Coolpad India has launched the company’s latest smartphone – Coolpad Mega 3 in India at a price tag of Rs.6,999. It comes in Gold, Grey & White colours and will be available exclusively on Amazon.in starting from December 7th, 2016. The Coolpad Mega 3 is the successor of Coolpad Mega 2.5D, that was launched in the month of August 2016. The main highlight of the Coolpad Mega 3 is that, it comes with triple-SIM card slots with a separate microSD card slot.
On the specifications front, the Coolpad Mega 3 features 5.5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and it is powered by 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor which is paired with Mali-T720 GPU & 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with Cool UI 8.0 on top of it and has 16GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 64GB via microSD card.
On the photography front, the Coolpad Mega 3 features 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED Flash and 8MP front-facing camera for selfie with LED flash.
It has dedicated triple SIM card slot, microSD card slot and connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG support.
It packs 3,050mAh removable battery and it lasts up to 200 hours on standby mode.
At such a price point, the Coolpad Mega 3 will compete with InFocus Bingo 50+, Reliance Digital LYF Wind 3 and few others.
