[Comparison] Motorola Moto E vs Motorola Moto G

Google owned Motorola has just announced the Moto E budget smartphone, a very close competitor to its sibling Moto G. Both the smartphones fall into the range of budget friendly market. The Moto E is officially announced in India and London simultaneously and will be  available in white and black colors. The Moto E comes with switchable back panels like the Motorola Moto G. The new Moto E will be exclusively sold by the Flipkart in India, starting May 14, 2014.

Moto E vs Moto GMoto E competes very closely to Moto G smartphones on every specs. Moto E features features a 4.3-inch (960 x 540, 256ppi pixels) sharp display with Gorilla Glass protection and is powered by a similar 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor as Moto G does.  Both the smartphones packs a 5MP rear camera, but there is no front facing camera on the new Moto E. It has also a less powerful battery. But on the pricing side, Moto E cost around 50% less than the Moto G. Moto E is very smartly priced with some powerful specs and very competitive specs to Moto G.
