Priyanka Communication under CENTRiC brand has launched the CENTRiC A1 in India at a price a tag of Rs. 9,999. For your information, the company under CENTRiC brand launch value for money smartphone and after using it for over two weeks I’m sharing detailed review below. But before that, I would like to say that the smartphone has good hardware, all-metal unibody finish, offers smooth experience and that too without spending too much.

The CENTRiC A1 comes with a usual packaging where you get SIM ejector tool, earphone, Silicon back cover, tempered glass, charger with USB Type-C cable, user guide, warranty card, and the device.
Design And Build Quality
The design of the smartphone is elegant and offers a premium feel when you hold it in your hands. The smartphone has a metal unibody design with very narrow bezels and there are curved edges for easier grip. There is a steel frame around the display contributing to its look.
There is a power button and volume rocker buttons on the right side while there is a SIM card slot on the left side.
On the front, there is a 5.5-inch Full HD display and below the display, there are three non-backlit capacitive keys. Above the display, there is a front camera with LED flash, speaker grill, and range of sensors.
On the top, there is a 3.5mm audio port while on the bottom side, there is a speaker and USB Type-C port for charging.
On the back side, there is a 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, fingerprint sensor, CENTRiC and DTS audio branding.
The phone weighs just 160 grams and it doesn’t feel heavy.
Display
The smartphone features 5.5-inch Full HD LTPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and the display is protected by Dragon Trail glass. The smartphone not only has good viewing angle but also has nice colors. The smartphone works well in outdoor & indoor.
Performance, Operating System, Memory, and DTS Sound
The CENTRiC A1 is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor which clocks at 1.4GHz and the 3GB of RAM capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously. The smartphone allows you to run multiple applications at a time and that too without any lag. The smartphone comes with Andreno 505 GPU for graphics processing and it makes your gaming experience quite good. You can easily play heavy graphics games like Asphalt 8, Fifa 18 without any hiccups & games run smoothly. Above all, the smartphone doesn’t heat much while playing high-end games for a long time.
The CENTRiC A1 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system and offers stock Android experience. There are only couple of apps that come pre-installed and these app doesn’t make your experience worse. The smartphone has gesture support and quick access to CENTRiC support centers. The smartphone comes with split-screen feature.
The smartphone has 32GB internal storage which can be expanded further up to 256GB via microSD card.
The smartphone comes with DTS Sound Technology, and this feature puts in front of another smartphone. In a price segment of Rs. 10,000, hardly any smartphone comes with DTS Sound Technology. The DTS Sound Technology makes your music & movie experience a better one.
The smartphone comes with a fingerprint sensor on the back and by using this, you can easily unlock your smartphone in just 0.2 seconds.
Camera
The smartphone features 13MP rear camera dual-LED flash and the images clicked has sharpness & details. In low light, the clicked images are decent. The smartphone comes with camera features like the Micro shot, portrait mode, beautification, continuous shot and face detection.
The smartphone has an 8MP front camera with LED flash. In low light conditions, you can easily click beautiful selfies.
Connectivity, and Battery
The CENTRiC A1 has a hybrid dual-SIM card slot and comes with connectivity features like dual-SIM 4G VoLTE, ViLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, USB Type C and other standard sensors. There were no issues when it comes to calling and it works fine with Reliance Jio and other SIM cards.
The CENTRiC A1 packs 3000mAh battery and comes with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, charges your smartphone from 0 to 50% in just 30 minutes & 0 to 100% in just 1.5 hours. The smartphone offers up to 15-18 hours of backup, rest depends on your usage, and with heavy usage of internet & gaming, the battery drains quickly. Apart from this, there is a battery save mode where you can further enhance the battery when you’ll not able to find any power source.
Final Verdict
The CENTRiC A1 is a new entrant and at a price tag of Rs. 9,999 I’m not expecting much from it. The CENTRiC A1 not only has solid build quality but it also has a good display and nice performance. With the addition of DTS Sound technology, you not only love to listen to music on your smartphone but also watch movies on your smartphone. In a price segment of 10,000, the smartphone stands out from the competition and position itself as a value for money smartphone.
