BlackBerry has launched company’s new feed-based social networking service BBM Channels for BlackBerry users, the service is going mainstream now. The service is now available to all BlackBerry users. Users with BlackBerry 10 and classic BlackBerry OS devices can use the service on their smartphones.
BBM Channels is a new social networking feature within BBM. The social platform provides streams of content in BBM, allows users to search for and subscribe to preferred channels, comment and share posts with friends and also have one-to-one chats with channel administrators. You can create your own channels as well.
Android and iOS users will have to wait to get their chance with BBM channels. According to BlackBerry the Channels support for these platforms is arriving in the “coming months.”
