Asus launched the company’s latest Android Wear smartwatch – Asus ZenWatch 2 in India at a price tag of Rs. 11,999. Originally, it was announced at the Computex 2015 in June last year and it went on sale in US through Google Store in October 2015. The Asus ZenWatch 2 comes in 2 variant and both the models will be launched in India. The Asus ZenWatch 2 available exclusively on Flipkart and Asus also said that, it will be sold at Asus Exclusive Stores later on.

The Asus Zenwatch 2 comes in two models, WI501Q with a 1.63-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels and it has 278 ppi density while the other model WI502Q has 1.45-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 280 x 280 pixels and it has 273 ppi density. The display on Asus Zenwatch 2 is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and it has 2.5D curved screen. The Asus Zenwatch 2 is powered by 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor which is paired with 512MB of RAM. It runs on Android Wear operating system which is compatible with smartphones running Android 4.3 & iOS and it has 4GB eMMC in-built memory.
The smartwatch is equipped with an enhanced battery that provides up to 2 day usage and 3 day stand-by time. Users are also provided with an all-new magnetic pogo-clip for effortless charging.
