Samsung has announced the company’s first Sounder with Dolby Atmos technology – Samsung HW-K950. The soundbar uses three forward-facing and two upwards-facing speakers, promises rich, detailed sound for realistic experience. it delivers 5.1 4-channel sound and connects wirelessly to the subwoofer & rear speaker units, that’s why it doesn’t require ceiling-fitted speakers for a 3D audio experience. It is just 2.1 high & has slim & sleek design. According to Samsung, “This is the industry’s first sounder package which comes with two Dolby Atmos-enabled wireless rear speakers.”
Regarding the new Samsung Soundbar, Doug Darrow, Senior Vice President, Dolby Laboratories, said:

Back in August 2015, Samsung introduced the R1, R3 and R5 wireless Audio 360 speakers and now introduced R5 speakers in new colours & patterns. According to Samsung, “These are designed to complement the décor of any room and bring audio content throughout the home.”
Samsung will showcase the new Soundbar, new color variants of the R5 Wireless Audio 360 Speakers and other products at the CES in Las Vegas from January 6th to 9th, 2016.
