In an Z3nvolution event in New Delhi, Asus along with Asus Transformer 3 Pro 2-in-1 also announced the next-generation notebook – Asus ZenBook 3 in India at a price tag of Rs. 1,47,990. it comes in Royal Blue, Rose Gold & Quartz Grey colours and available for October 2016 onwards across all major ecommerce sites, Asus Exclusive Stores & leading retail stores. The ZenBook is 11.9mm thick weighs 907 grams, thinner & lighter than Apple’s MacBook. Originally, the Asus ZenBook 3 announced at Computex in May 2016 this year.
On the specifications front, it features 12.5-inch Full HD LED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 300 nits brightness, has 72% NTSC colour gamut and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by Intel Core i7-7500U Processor which clocks at 2.7GHz (4M Cache, up to 3.5GHz) and paired with 16GB RAM. It runs on Windows operating system and has 1TB storage.
The Asus ZenBook 3 is sleek and is crafted from aerospace-grade aluminium alloy. It has a metal finish, measures 11.9mm and weigh 910 g. It features a thin fan design which is just 3 mm for cooling. The Asus ZenBook 3 features a full-size backlit keyboard with 19.8mm key pitch.
According to company claims, the Asus ZenBook 3 offers nine hours of battery life and comes with fast-charge technology which brings ZenBook 3’s battery up to 60% capacity in just 49 minutes.
