Amazon has announced the Amazon Fire TV streaming box at a price tag of $99 and it is available from Amazon.com. It plugs into your HDTV and lets you stream movies & TV shows at up to 1080p resolution, listen to songs, use apps, play games and more.
On the specifications front, it is powered by 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 pro processor which is paired with 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android-based OS Fire OS called Mojito and has 8GB in-built memory.
