Alcatel One Touch has announced the company’s first camera-centric smartphone – Alcatel OneTouch Flash 2 in India. It comes in Volcanic Grey & Mica White and there is no word on the pricing yet. It will be roll out in Philippines, Thaliand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore starting fromt his month through online retailer Lazada. It will be also available in India soon, exclusively on Flipkart.
Commenting on the launch, Albert Wong, General Manager, Alcatel Flash, said:
“Mobigraphy is not just an action, but is now a lifestyle. We understand this from the very beginning when we created the Flash series. What we have done for Alcatel Flash 2 is to continue to improve on what we already have and make it better yet at the same time continue to provide accessibility and convenience to the users to shoot their best moments.”
On the specifications front, it features 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels at 294 ppi and has 178-degree viewing angle. It is powered by 1.3GHz Octa-Core 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 processor which is paired with Mali-T720 GPU & 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and has 16GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 128GB by microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 13-megapixel rear-camera with dual-tone LED flash, Phase Detection Auto-Focus that would let you focus a subjct in just 0.3-seconds and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with soft LED flash for selfie & video-calling.
It has dual SIM support and 4G LTE connectivity on both. Other connectivity features are 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS
It packs 3000mAh battery.
