Acer has announced the company’s new tablet – Acer Iconia Tab 10 A3-A30 at a price tag of Us $299. It will be available in North America in May and in selected countries in EMEA in May. It comes with optional stylus, protective film, bumper case, protective sleeve and wireless keyboard dock.
On the specifications front, it features 10.1-inch FHD IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and the display is based on Zero Air Gap technology. It also has Acer Precision Plus technology which offers highly accurate touch & writing experience. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and it is powered by 1.83GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor which is paired with 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and has 16Gb/32GB/64GB in-built memory, the in-built memory can be expanded further up to 64GB via microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 5-megapixel rear-camera and 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has connectivity features like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC.
It offers 7.5 hours of battery life.
The Acer Iconia Tab 10 A3-A30 will join the Google Education ecosystem.
