Acer has announced the company’s latest tablet – Acer Iconia One 8 B1-820 at a price tag of US $149. It comes in 10 colours and will be available in North America in July & EMEA in April.
On the specifications front, it features 8-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and the display based on Zero Air Gap technology. In addition to this, the display has Acer Precision Plus technology which offers accurate touch & writing experience. It is powered by 1.83GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735G processor which is paired with 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and has 16GB/32GB in-built memory, the in-built memory can be expanded further by using microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 5-megapixel rear-camera with 88-degree wide-angle lens and 0.3Mp front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has connectivity features like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n & Bluetooth 4.0.
It offers 8.5 hours of battery life.
The Acer Iconia One 8 B1-820 has Iconia Suite which includes EZ apps such as EZ Note, EZ WakeUp, EZ Snap and EZ Gadget that lets you simplify tasks with touch gestures and quick access icons.
