Xiaomi has announced the company’s latest smartphone in the Redmi series – Xiaomi Redmi 4A in China at a price tag of 499 Yuan. It comes in Gold & Rose Gold colour and it will go on sale in China starting from November 11th, 2016. The smartphone comes with a unibody design with metal matte finish.
On the specifications front, the XIaomi Redmi 4A features 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and it is powered by 1.4GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor which is paired with Adreno 308 GPU & 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with MIUI 8 on top of it and it has 16GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card.

On the photography front, the Xiaomi Redmi 4A features 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has hybrid dual SIM card slot and comes with connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS.
It packs a 3120mAh built-in battery with fast charging support.
