Micromax has launched the company’s latest 4G VoLTE smartphone in the Canvas series – Micromax Canvas Spark 4G in India at a price tag of Rs. 4,999. It comes in White Champagne colour and the smartphone will go on sale starting from November 10th, 2016 at 12:00 P.M. The smartphone available exclusively on Snapdeal and the registrations for the sale has already started. The smartphone is bundled with Reliance Jio Welcome offer. The Micromax Canvas Spark 4G is the successor of the Micromax Canvas 3 3G smartphone. There is a new metal back cover at the back.
On the specifications front, the Micromax Canvas Spark 4G features 5-inch FWVGA IPS display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor which is paired with 1GB of RAM. it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and has 8GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card.
On the photography front, the Micromax Canvas Spark 4G features 5MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front camera for selfie.
It has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS.
It packs 2000mAh battery.
At such a price tag, the Micromax Canvas Spark 4G competes with Xolo Era 1X, Reliance Digital LYF Wind 5, Intex Aqua Strong 5.1 and others.
