OnePlus announced the OnePlus 3T smartphone in U.S. and it is the upgraded version of OnePlus 3 that was introduced earlier this year. When compared with OnePlus 3, OnePlus 3T has same design, same dimensions & weight by just making minor changes. Design:
Both the smartphone – OnePlus 3 & OnePlus 3T comes with same design, there is no change. Even though the dimensions and weight remains the same. There is only a slight difference when it comes to the colour – OnePlus 3T will be available in Gunmetal colour instead of Graphite colour while the Soft Gold variant is retained.
Processor & Storage:
The OnePlus 3 is powered by 2.15GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor while the OnePlus 3T is powered by 2.35GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. In terms of storage, there is a slight difference – OnePlus 3T comes in two storage variant – 64GB/128GB while the OnePlus 3 comes in only one variant, i.e., 64GB. On both the smartphone, there is no microSD card and has 6GB of RAM.

Camera:
The OnePlus 3 & OnePlus 3T retains the same rear-camera but there is a difference when it comes to front-camera. The OnePlus 3T features 16MP front camera while the OnePlus 3 comes with 8MP front-camera. For your information, apart from increasing the megapixel on front-camera, the front-camera on OnePlus 3T comes with Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF).
Battery:
The OnePlus 3 packs 3000mAh battery while the OnePlus 3T packs 3400mAh battery. Both the smartphone has Dash Charging support.
Price:
The OnePlus 3T cost US $439 for the 64GB version and US $479 for the 128GB version while the OnePlus cost US $399.
In terms of display, software, RAM or dash charging, there no differences between OnePlus 3 & OnePlus 3T. Above all, OnePlus said that, both the phone will get Android 7.0 Nougat update soon.
