Reliance Digital has launched the company’s latest smartphone in the Wind series – LYF Wind 7i in India at a price tag of Rs. 4,999. It comes in Black & Blue colour and it is available on reliance stores. The LYF Wind 7i is the cheaper version of Wind 7. The LYF Wind 7i has metallic body with a non-textured back cover with LYF logo & speaker grill. The company has also added gesture control support, you can swipe slip to mute, double tap to switch on the display, slide down to open camera, slide right to choose messages and slide left to open any custom app of your choice.
On the specifications front, the LYF Wind 7i features 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and it is protected by AGC Glass protection. It is powered by 1.3GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor which is paired with Adreno 304 GPU & 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and has 8GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 128GB via micro-SD card.
On the photography front, the LYF Wind 7i features 8MP auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and 5MP front-facing camera for selfie.
It has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS.
It packs 2250mAh battery and it lasts up to 9 hours of talktime on 4G and 180 hours of standby time.
At such a price tag, the LYF Wind 7i competes with Micromax Canvas Spark 4G, Alcatel Pixi 4 and others.
