YU has launched the company’s latest smartphone – YUNIQUE in India at a price tag of Rs. 4,999. It comes in Black colour and will go on sale starting from September 2015 on Snapdeal in flash sale model. As a promotional offer, it comes with double data offer for Airtel customers and the registrations for the sale begins at 6:00 P.M starting today. YU YUNIQUE will compete with other affordable 4G smartphone like Phicomm Engergy 653 & Lenovo A2010, both smartphone launched at same price.

On the specifications front, it features 4.7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels at 312 PPI. It is powered by Quad-Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor which is paired with Adreno 306 GPU & 1GB of RAM. It runs on stock Android 5.1 Lollipop and it doesn’t run on Cyanogen OS on top of it. If you want to run Cyanogen OS on top of it, the you can head to YU service centres to upgrade it for free. Above all, flushable ROM will be available in future. It has 8GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB by using microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 8-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS.
It packs 2000mAh battery.
