YotaPhone 2 Dual-Screen Smartphone To Be Unveiled At MWC 2014

According to reports, Yota Device, a Russian based company will be introducing the successor to the YotaPhone probably YotaPhone 2 on 24th February at MWC. On their Facebook page, they said,

” You will be blown away when you see what we’ll unveil next week at MWC in Barcelona.”

Although, this doesn’t confirm anything but according to a recent report from a Russian website hi-tech.mail.ru and Russian daily Kommersant reveals that the YotaPhone 2 would arrive at MWC 2014. In addition to this, the reports claims that the E-Ink display on the back would have full touch capabilities & the improved hardware when compared with first YotaPhone. The YotaPhone 2 is expected to have two displays, a regular touchscreen on one side and an E-Ink display on the other side.

if you do not know, the company has launched the first YotaPhone in December and has sold over 12,000 units with 10,000 units in Russia alone. The company has even plans to sell the phone in 20 countries after making début Russia, Austria, France, Germany and Spain. It features 4.3-inch display with resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and secondary 4.3-inch E-Ink display with 360 x 640 display, powered by a dual-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon Processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.2.2. The E-Ink display can stream social media, text messages, maps, weather, breaking news and it can also work as an e-book reader. It has 13-megapixels rear camera and a 1-megapixel camera on the front. It packs 1800mAh battery and comes with LTE connectivity.
