In China, Xiaomi has announced the company’s latest smartphone in the Redmi Note series – Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 at a price tag of 999 Yuan (US $151). It comes in Dark Grey, Silver and Champagne Gold colours. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro comes in two variants – 2GB RAM with 16GB in-bullt memory which costs 999 Yuan and it will go on sale on January 17th in China. The other variant is 3GB RAM with 32GB in-built memory and there are no details on the pricing & availability. It comes in metal body and a fingerprint sensor at the back.
On the specifications front, it features 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels & it has 178-degree viewing angle. It is powered by Hexa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 64-bit processor which is paired with Adreno 510 GPU & it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with MIUI 7 on top of it. It has 2GB RAM with 16GB in-built memory and 3GB RAM with 32GB in-built memory.
On the imaging front, it features 16MP rear-camera dual-tone LED flash, PDAF and 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has dual-SIM support with 4G connectivity on both smartphones. Other connectivity features are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/b/g/n (2.4 / 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS + GLONASS.
