Earlier Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 2 smartphone in India and recently it got a price cut, available at Rs. 5,999. At the launch event, company said, they are planning to launch the 2GB RAM with 16GB in-built memory variant in India. Now, the top end version of Redmi 2 listed on Amazon.in as Redmi 2 Prime without a price tag.
On the specifications Xiaomi Redmi 2 features 4.7-inch IPS fully laminated display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and it is powered by 1.2GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and runs on Android 4.4 KItKat with MIUI 6 on top of it. On the imaging front, it features 8-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling. it has connectivity features like 4G LTE with support for TD-LTE 2300MHz (Band 40) and FDD-LTE 1800MHz (Band 3) for India and packs 2200mAh battery.
It is expected that Xiomi Redmi 2 Prime will come in a similar price range and it will give a tough competition to other smartphone.
