[Comparison] Xiaomi Mi3 vs HTC Desire 516 vs BlackBerry Z3

Xiaomi launched the Mi3 in India at an initial price tag of INR 13,999 and at such a price range it will compete with HTC Desire 516 and BlackBerry Z3. Both, HTC Desire 516 and BlackBerry Z3 announced last month in India. Xiaomi Mi3 and BlackBerry runs on the latest version of operating system while the HTC Desire 516 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. On the specifications front, both the mentioned device doesn’t compete with Xiaomi Mi3.

Xiaomi Mi3 features a 5-inch IPS display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 441 ppi and it is powered with 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM 8974AB) processor with Adreno 330 GPU. It has 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony Exmor RS BSI sensor, 28mm lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel BSI front-facing camera with 30mm lens. Both the cameras can record videos at 1080p full HD resolution. It runs on MIUI v5 on top of Android 4.4 KitKat and it packs 3,050mAh battery.

HTC Desire features a 5-inch display with resolution of 960 x 540 pixels and it is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor. It has 1GB RAM, 4GB internal memory which can be expanded further up to 64GB via microSD card. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and 2-megapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Sense UI on top and it packs 1.950mAh.

BlackBerry Z3 features a 5.0-inch qHD touch screen display with resolution of 540 x 960 pixels and it is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8230 processor which is coupled with 305 GPU. It has 1.5GB RAM and 8GB internal memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB. It has 5MP auto-focus rear-camera with LED flash and 1.1MP front-facing camera. It runs on BlackBerry OS 10.2.1 and packs 2,500mAh non-removable battery.
