Xiaomi has launched the company’s latest Android One smartphone – Xiaomi Mi A2 in India at a starting price tag of ₹ 16,999. The smartphone comes in Lake Blue, Gold, Rose Gold, and Black colours and it will be available for pre-order starting from today, August 9th on mi.com and Amazon.in, the shipping starts next week. The first sale will begin on August 16th on Mi.com, Amazon.in, Mi Home Stores. As a launch offer, it comes with ₹ 2,200 instant cashback and 4.5TB additional data for Jio users. The Xiaomi Mi A2 comes in two variant – 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage cost ₹ 16,999 while the 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage will be launched soon and there is no word the pricing. Originally, the Xiaomi Mi A2 was launched in Spain last month, and it is the successor of Xiaomi Mi A1.

On the specifications front, the Xiaomi Mi A2 features 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels, has 18:9 aspect ratio, and a pixel density of 403 PPI. The display is protected by 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass. The Mi A2 has dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) support and comes with connectivity options like 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (dual-band, 2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C (v2.0) port, and IR Blaster. There is no 3.5mm audio jack on the device, but the company bundling a Type-C to 3.5mm adapter. The Mi A2 comes with sensors like accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor.
