Western Digital has launched the company’s latest hard drive in My Passport & My Book series with innovative redesigns at a startint price tag of Rs. 7,980 (1TB) & 13,050(3TB) respectively. The WD My Pasaport and My Book Desktop hard drive comes 2-year limited warranty and available at select retailers & distributors starting from Wednesday. The WD My Passport hard drive comes in Black, Red, White & Blue colours while the WD My Book Desktop comes in Black colour.

Both the WD My Passport and WD My Book hard drives feature a smooth, glossy top, textured lower halves and shard edges. For your information, WD collaborated with fuseproject, an external design & branding firm.
The WD My Passport hard drive comes in 1TB, 2TB & 4TB capacity options and the prices for the 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB WD My Passport drives are Rs. 7,980, Rs. 11,910, and Rs. 17,140 respectively. It comes with cloud storage and 256-AES hardware encryption. A USB 3.0 cable in the same colour is included in each box.
The WD My Book Desktop capacity ranges from 3TB to 8TB and the prices are Rs. 13,050, Rs. 16,470, Rs. 26,600, and Rs. 29,500 for the 3TB, 4TB, 6TB, and 8TB models respectively. The drive comes with WD Backup software and it also offers password protection with 256-AES encryption. The drive is USB 3.0 compatible and a cable is included in each box.
