Vivo Mobile has announced the company’s latest flagship smartphone – Vivo Xplay5 in China at a starting price tag of 3698 Yuan. It comes in Champagne Gold and Rose Gold colours and it will be available for order starting from March 8 & it will ship starting March 16th. It comes in two variants – 6GB RAM with SoC 820 costs 4288 Yuan while the other variant 4GB RAM with SoC 652 costs 3698 Yuan.
On the specifications front, it features 5.43-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED dual-curved edge display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. At is powered by 64-bit Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor which is paired with 6GB RAM while the other variant is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 which is paired with 4GB RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and it has 128GB in-built memory.
On the imaging front, it features 16MP rear-camera with dual-tone LED flash and 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS.
It packs 3600mAh battery with dual-charging chip for fast charging.
It has full metal body and comes with fingerprint sensor at the back, unlocks the phone in just 0.4 seconds. The Xplay5 has CS4398 DAC amplifier and AD8397 and the Xplay5 high-end version has ES9028 DAC and TI’s OPA1612 amplifier for better audio output.
