UMI has released the company’s latest budget smartphone – UMI Fair at a price tag of US $99. It comes in Black & White colour and it is available from several online retailers. It is the most affordable smartphone which comes with a fingerprint sensor. Above all, it features self-learning algorithm which can store up to 5 fingerprints & unlock the phone in just 0.32 seconds with over 99% accuracy. It has metal frame and back panel is made up of smooth polycarbonate material.
On the specifications front, it features 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and it is powered by 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor which is paired with Mali T720 MP2 GPU & 1GB of RAM. It runs on Andorid 5.1 Lollipop and has 64GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 64GB by using microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 13-megapixel rear-camera with Sony with dual LED flash and 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
