Spice has launched the latest smartphone in the Stellar series – the Stellar 445 in India at an initial price tag of INR 5,299. It comes in Black color and will be available from the first week of July across India through major retail stores and its online store. It supports multiple Indian languages such as English, Hindi, Bangla, Tamil, Telugu and Marathi and has Swift Keyboard that makes typing smarter, easier & faster. In addition to this, Spice Stellar 445 provides 2GB Free Storage on Spice Cloud and it enables users to access data on multiple devices.
Commenting on the launch,Mr. T M Ramakrishnan, CEO – Devices, Spice Retail Ltd, said,
“This is the first 4-inch smartphone from Spice with a Quad Core processor that enables multitasking and faster speed. Through the multiple Indian languages option in our products we intend to reach out to the masses with the readiness of their choice of language in their mobiles. The idea to empower every Indian through their smartphones has been our engine of growth and we have been working towards it by proliferating data services through our 3G enabled handsets.”
It features 4-inch WVGA touch screen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and it is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor which is paired with 512MB RAM. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and has 4GB in-built storage which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features a 3.2-megapixel rear-camera without flash and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera.
It has 3G connectivity and dual SIM (3G + 2G) support. It comes pre-loaded with OLX, WhatsApp and more app. It has Snapdragon audio+ Technology for enhanced audio output.
It packs 1,500mAh battery which provides decent battery backup and it also packs BatteryGuru application which is developed by Qualcomm, it understands customers usage and requirements & optimizes the device without disabling smartphone functionality. In addition to this, it has Quick Charge feature that helps in charging the device 10-15% faster than any normal device.
