Sony has launched the company’s latest flagship smartphone – Sony Xperia Z3 in India at an initial price tag of Rs. 51,990 and it is available from September 25, 2014. It comes in 3 colours – Black, White and Cooper. Originally it was unveiled at IFA 2014 earlier this month and it is successor of Xperia Z2.
On the specifications front, it features 5.2-inch IPS LCD capacitive display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels at 424 pip and it is powered by 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 processor which is paired with Adreno 330GPU. It has 3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 20.7-megapixel autofocus rear-camera with LED flash and 2.2MP front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has Nano-SIM support and connectivity features like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPRS/EDGE, HSDPA, Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP, NFC and micro-USB support.
It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and packs 3100mAh non-removable battery with STAMINA Mode. According to company claims it lasts for 2 day and has standby time of 890 hours on 2G & 740 hours on 3G. It offers 16 hours of talk time on 2G and 14 hours of talk time on 2G.
