A new update makes it’s way to Sony smartphones, Sony releases Android 4.2 firmware update for Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra flagship smartphones. The company has announced it is rolling out an update for Android 4.2 Jelly Bean to both the devices worldwide. The update brings better viewing experiences to users.
Along with performance and stability improvements, Android 4.2 update for Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra some fixes an d new features. Better power consumption for better battery life and streamlined exchange connection for faster email sync, display and download are among them.

For Xperia Z1 Smartphone
- Tweaked the camera algorithm for even better all round performance
- Sony’s Smart Social Camera platform has been refined, so Xperia Camera apps will run more smoothly, particularly in Burst Mode, Superior Auto, AR Effect and Sweep Panorama, departments.
- Re-calibrated the display ever so slightly, to ensure viewing experiences remain bright & bold
- Economised power consumption for longer battery life
- Streamlined Exchange connection for faster email sync, display and download
For Xperia Z Ultra
- Brings better touchscreen sensitivity, “for both finger gestures and writing / sketching with pencils, metal pens and selected styluses.
- Re-calibrated the display ever so slightly, to ensure viewing experiences remain bright & bold

- Streamlined Exchange connection for faster email sync, display and download
