Smarton India has launched the company’s latest smartphone – Smarton srt.phone in India at a starting price tag of Rs. 12,999. The srt.phone comes in Titanium Gray color and available exclusively on Flipkart. The smartphone comes in two variants – 32GB variant cost Rs. 12,999 while the 64GB variant cost Rs. 13,999. There are number of launch offers like you get extra Rs. 1500 discount on exchange and a free Sachin Tendulkar Signature back cover for a limited time period.
On the specifications front, the srt.phone features 5.5-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and to protect it from scratches, the smartphone comes with Corning Glass 3 protection. The smartphone is powered by 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor which is paired with 4GB dual channel RAM. The company claims that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor is 30% faster than Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system and has 64GB internal storage and there is no microSD card slot for expanding the storage.
On the photography side, the srt.phone features a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, PDAF, and 5MP front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.

The smartphone has dual SIM support and comes with connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.1, USB Type-C port, GPS/ A-GPS, and NFC. Talking about Sensors, the smartphone comes with an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.
Dimensions, and Weight:
The smartphone measures 153 x 77 x 8.9 mm and weighs 155 grams.
Battery:
The smartphone packs 3000mAh non-removable battery and come with support for fast charging using Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 when charged using the bundled 18W adapter (5V/2A and 9V/2A). The smartphone has removable back cover.
Other Features:
The smartphone has a fingerprint sensor on the back and it unlocks the phone in just 0.09 seconds. As the smartphone doesn’t have a microSD card, the srt.phone comes with unlimited tCloud storage. The company promises an upgrade to upcoming Android O as well as fastest software updates and security patches.
Competitors:
At such a price tag, the srt.phone will compete with Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Lenovo K6 Power, Coolpad Cool 1 and Moto G5.
