Seagate Technology has launched the company’s latest hard drive – Seagate Backup Plus Ultra Slim in India at a starting price tag of Rs. 5,699. The hard drive comes in two finishes gold & platinum and available exclusively on Amazon.in. The Seagate Backup Plus Ultra Slim comes in two variant – 1TB costs Rs. 5,699 and Rs. 8,399 for 2TB. The Seagate Backup Plus Ultra Slim is touted as the thinnest 2TB mobile hard drive.

The Seagate Backup Plus Ultra Slim is build up on the award-winning Backup Plus Slim drive technology. The Hard drive delivers a new design and comes with 200GB of Microsoft OneDrive cloud storage and Lyve software compatibility. The Hard Drive is only 9.6mm thick and it employs Seagate’s latest 2.5-inch HDD technology, which makes it more than 50 percent thinner than other 2TB drives which are available in the market.
Users can store up to 500,000 songs, 320,000 photos or 240 hours of high-definition video in their pocket. The Backup Plus Slim comes with a Seagate Dashboard software which offers one-click on-demand or customizable, scheduled backups for their devices.
