Samsung has started sending out invitations for it’s “Kapture The Moment” event,which will be held in Singapore on April 29. The event is likely to be the launch of the Samsung K Zoom camera phone, the successor to the Galaxy S4 Zoom launched last year. Samsung’s flagship smartphone Galaxy S5 is now available globally, the next big things from the company seems to be the Zoom, Active and Mini variants. The Samsung Galaxy K Zoom aka Galaxy S5 Zoom is making a lot of buzz in the tech world, which is likely to be announced at the event in Singapore.
The report from the FCC confirms that the model number of the Galaxy K Zoom will be SM-C115 and reveals that the upcoming smartphone will support NFC and LTE connectivity. If the rumors are to be trusted, the Samsung K Zoom will have a 20.2 megapixel sensor with 10x optical zoom and Xenon flash. It will feature a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and will be powered by the company’s new Exynos 5 Hexa chipset with six-core CPU and 2 GB of RAM. The camera phone will run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The sources claimed before that the K (S5) Zoom will be thinner than the S4 Zoom.
Although Samsung hasn’t stated the occasion for the event in the official invitation, company just posted a mysterious invitation for an April 29th event. But the recent buzz (alleged specs and a picture) of the K Zoom aka Galaxy S5 Zoom in the rumorland and the tag ‘Kapture the Moment’ in the invitation makes it quite clear what it’s going to be about.
