Barnes & Noble in collaboration with Samsung America has introduced a new tablet – Samsung Galaxy Tab A Nook at a price tag of US $139.99. It is available from Barnes & Noble stores in U.S. and also available via BN.com. A good news to all existing Nook customers, Barnes & Noble has announced an upgraded offer where they get the new Nook tablet for US $99.99 by trading Nook device at Barnes & Noble store. In addition to this, Barnes & Noble members can also opt for limited-time upgrade offer where they receive a free cover for the device, the free cover costs US $39.95.

On the specifications front, it features 7-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels at 216 ppi and it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor which is paired with 1.5GB of RAM. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with Samsung UI on top if it and it has 8GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 200GB via mcroSD card.
On the photography front, it features 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED Flash and also packs a 2-megapixel front camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has connectivity features like Wi-Fi, GPS, Glonass, Bluetooth.
it packs 4000mAh battery and the company claims that it can deliver up to 11 hours of internet usage.
It comes preloaded with Nook Profiles which allows multiple users to personalise the tablet and it can support up to six profiles.
