Samsung has launched the launched the Galaxy S4 Value Edition in Netherlands at an initial price tag of €398 (~ $542) for unlocked version. It bears a model number of i9515 and the ‘Value Edition’ tag doesn’t mean that much to me. The price is actually higher than the Samsung Galaxy S4 price and already Samsung Galaxy S4 gets a massive price cut in India.
Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition is just a regular Samsung Galaxy S4 & there is no difference. The only difference between both the devices is that, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition runs on latest Android Kitkat 4.4.2 version while the Samsung Galaxy S4 doesn’t. Although, Samsung has already released the KitKat update for the regular Samsung Galaxy s4.
On the specifications front, it features the same specs as of Samsung Galaxy S4 i9595 that was announced last year. It features 5-inch display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and powered by quad-core 1.9GHz Snapdragon 600 processor coupled with 2GB RAM. On the imaging front it has 13MP rear-camera and 2MP front-facing camera. It has latest TouchWiz UX.. It has 16GB in-built storage and packs 2600mAh battery.
