Samsung has launched the company’s latest smartphone – Samsung Galaxy Note 5 in India at a starting price of Rs. 53,900 for the 32GB variant while the 64GB variant costs Rs. 59,900. it comes in Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum & Silver Titanium colours and will be available in India starting from September 20th, 2015. It will go on pre-order starting today and those who pre-order the smartphone will get a wireless charger, one year free screen replacement guarantee & an option to get it with 24 EMIs. Originally, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 was launched at the Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event last month.
On the specifications front, it features 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and it is powered by Octa-Core (Quad 2.1GHz + Quad 1.5GHz) Exynos 7420 processor and paired with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and has 32GB & 64GB in-built memory.
On the imaging front, it features 16-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash, OIS and 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has connectivity features like 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2X2 MIMO), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, ANT+, NFC
It packs 3000mAh built-in battery & comes with fast charing capabilities to charge the phone fully in approximately 90 minutes using a wired fast charger and just 120 minutes using Samsung’s wireless charger.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has improved S Pen Stylus with push to eject/insert mechanism. Air Command launches instant when the S Pen is removed so that you can access Action Memo, Smart Select, Screen Write and more easily. You can also add up to 3 favourite app shortcuts. It comes with a Fingerprint sensor built into the home button.
