After number of leaks & rumours Samsung has finally introduced the company’s latest smartphone – Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) in Dubai at a price tag of AED 499. It comes in Black, White & Gold colours and it is the successor of last year’s Samsung Galaxy J1. According to the source, the phone is already on display in Jumbo electronics showroom (retailer in UAE). It is expected that, it will come with dual SIM support for selected markets in India.
On the specifications front, it features 4.5-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and it is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 processor which is paired with Mali T-720 GPU & 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system and it has 8GB in-built memory which can be expanded further by using microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 5MP auto-focus rear-camera with LED flash and 2MP front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has connectivity features like 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS.
It packs 2050mAh battery.
