In an event in China, Samsung has announced the company’s latest top-end smartphone in the “Galaxy A” series – Samsung Galaxy A9. it comes in White, Gold and Pink colours. There is no word on the pricing & availability of the device.
On the specifications front, it features 6-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass and it has resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 652 processor which is paired with Adreno 510 GPU & 3GB of RAM. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system and it has 32GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card slot.
On the imaging front, it features 13MP rear-camera with OIS, LED flash and 8MP front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has dual SIM support and connectivity features like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v 4.1, ANT+, NFC.
It packs 4000mAh battery and comes with fast charing support.
It has 2.74mm narrow frame and fingerprint sensor under the home button. It has metal frame & glass back at the back, similar to Galaxy S6 series smartphone.
