Samsung Galaxy A8 With 5.7-inch Super AMOLED Display, Octa-Core Processor And Android 5.1 Launched In India For Rs. 32500

Samsung has launched the company’s latest top-end smartphone in the A-series – Samsung Galaxy A8 in India at a price tag of Rs. 32,500. It comes in Black, White & Gold colours and available through all retail & online channels across India. Originally, it was announced earlier this month in China. It also comes with double data offer for Airtel customers for 6 months.

On the specifications front, it features 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it is powered by Octa-Core (1.8GHz Quad Core + 1.3GHz Quad Core) Exynos 5430 processor which is paired with 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with TouchWiz UI on top and has 32GB internal memory, expandable up to 128GB with microSD.

On the imaging front, it features 16-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.

It has Hybrid dual-SIM slot, which means second slot can also be used as a microSD card slot and connectivity features like 4G LTE / 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ GLONASS.

It packs 3050mAh battery.

It has 2.5mm ultra-narrow bezels and the variant that was launched in China is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor. It has full metal uni-body design, similar to other A-series smartphone and it is just 5.9mm thick. It also comes with fingerprint sensor which is integrated into the home-button.
